Based on the accompanying artwork you've provided, I take it Xylophonophobia is the irrational fear of xylophones, Anonymous Poet? I like how you've subtly woven a bit of rhyme in your entry with Doc, block, and glock.

Cheers, Contestant;
> Bugs Bunny is playing a xylophone not a glockenspiel. Glockenspiel is a long line of tubular bells.
> Good luck in the contest and take care and have a good one.

I?ve also been told that rabbits neither speak nor play musical instruments.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I was thinking this exact thought while sitting on the toilet this morning. Then my toast popped up and I reached for the blackberry jelly.

That blackberry jelly works good as a KY replacement.

Loved how you brought attention to 'doc, block, glock' ... very creative.
I learned something about musical instruments after looking up glockenspiel in the dictionary, which brought great understanding to you poem. The glockenspiel and
xylophone are of the same family, both with different bars, octaves, etc.; hence, Bugs fear of xylophones should not deter him from playing the glockenspiel.
This is a great contest entry!!!

PS: I have always loved Bugs Bunny

Ha!
It reminds me of a story I heard once about a music student, answering a question in a test: the question was - what is the principal use of the xylophone: the answer given was "to illustrate the letter x."
This is a difficult form which you have mastered to the point that you can toy with it - well done: the internal rhyme is very clever.
I wish you well with this piece.
cheers

Knowing that Bugs Bunny is the speaker in this naani makes it all the more enjoyable. Your use of true and partial rhyme is very effective.

Very funny, enjoyed the entire concert by the Buggs.
Didn't get a Golden Globe nomination, but still played good to a packed audience.
'oc' rhymes were spot on
Merriam-Webster should be in contact with you soon about your xylophone phobia word (-;

Thanks, Mark, for the great review. According to Wikipedia, xylophonophobia is actually a word.
