Hi Roxanna,

I enjoyed reading your doggie story today :) I like Daisy. Is she a real dog or fictitious? We got squeaky tous for our two dogs for Christmas. Lexie isn't interested in playing with toys. She just likes to run. So Laila enjoyed both toys. She skillfully removed the squeakers and stuffing. That's the best Christmas a dog could ever have in her opinion lol!

If you write about dogs and cats, I will be here to read it. (Unless I'm having issues with my hip pain). I'm hoping to read, review, and post more often this year.

Rox, this is so cute, and I'm fairly sure Daisy is channeling my daughter, who will hate a gift in direct proportion to how excited I am to give it to her. I love your "dialogue," and the clever way in which Daisy turns the story to her advantage. I also love that it's a win/win tale (for everyone but her owners, of course), since Daisy doesn't have to deal with the hated toy, but Sam is absolutely thrilled to get a present. Thank you for putting a smile on my face to start the New Year.

Oy! I'm sorry about your job issues. I hope you at least had some time off over the holidays. By the way, the fun you had in writing the story was so obvious throughout, and added to the fun in reading it.

Looks like a proper response to the animal crackers challenge. A new toy that the pet shuns like the plague...my dogs had a habit of burying devices in the back yard...excellent post.
