I'm sorry that by now I've run out of the six stars the hilarious story deserves. The babies are a riot! I definitely need to fan you because I am now in need of a regular fix of their antics. Great dialogue! I'm in awe of how much you were able to get across so quickly. Cheers, Fonda

Wow, congratulations on the nomination for SOM! I enjoyed this immensely (but then you KNOW I would)! Those two sound like they keep you hopping. (hahahaha) Well done, my friend. I'll have to be sure Prissy reads this one. *grin*

Thank you for this delightful review. I hope Prissy likes it, too. Just being nominated is enough for me. 8-)

This short, short story, The Gift Return Caper, is pretty funny and seems to jibe with the information I have on cats and their need to best human decision-making with good old cat know-how.

Thank you, Bill. They're very smart, and come up with the funniest things.

Great dialogue story Yvonne, and well told from the POV of PC and Endeavour. It was easy to imagine this very funny scene through your words and it certainly left me chuckling. Well told,
cheers,
valda

Great fun, and I love the name Endeavour. Trying to disguise himself as you seems a bit of a reach, even for an intelligent cat. I wonder if cats do get tired of the same old toys. My cats have so many they don't seem at all interested in. Great dialogue with the cats, and a cute ending. My cats, unfortunately, can reach the door handle. They know how to use it, too. Very entertaining. Happy New Year to you. judi

PC tries to pry the tab on the can, but so far hasn't been able to. Yes, he can reach the doorknob, too, but I denied him that talent in the story. lol
I rotate their mice. I have a big jar of catnip with mice in it. After a while, I give those to the cats, and put the old ones in the jar. That way, they think they're getting new toys. Hahahaha

My cats have a whole box of toys, but there are only a few that the like to play with. They're hard to figure out. judi

Oh, this is really cute. You must really know your kitties. I loved the suspense of ridiculousness as PC and Endeavor work out a truly cartoon-making scheme.
Not knowing what the name PC stands for, I was playing games with exchanging it for Endeavor, since it fits the personality so well. :)

Hahahahaha, Yvonne, this is hilarious. Cat's are just like that, aren't they? So full of mischief. No wonder Tom And Jerry was invented. Your story is adorable and with a twist in the tail. Loved it. Warm regards. Ulla:)))

This is so cute. Catnip mice, indeed. I opted to go for the catnip treats for Jewel, which are always welcomed. I like the idea of the laser light beam, too. I have one here someplace, but can't find it. Love the image to accompany your fun piece. Marilyn

Thank you, Marilyn. I'm so glad you like it. I'm trying to improve my prose writing. I have a laser beam, too, and I can't find mine, either. hahahahaha

Maybe yours and mine ran off together. I just ran across mine a week or so ago and now I can't find it again. Oh well, poor kitty's loss. Marilyn

Ignore it, that's what he would do. May as well save my money. He always found his own toys, like climbing up inside the Christmas tree. He's gone now and I miss his capers. This was cute Yvonne. Hug them for me. Happy New Year. Nancy:)
