Your poem was sweet and romantic. I am glad you found love after having your wings broken, so to speak. I am sorry you lost your husband, but it sounds like you have many great memories. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Hello my friend. Long time no see? How are you? I loved your entry for the Love Poem. True love never dies, but oh, the loneliness persists. One day you will meet again, your body whole and your love reunited. Blessings, Kay xx

Patricia the Lord knew He would have a faithful servant in you. I'm God had was in the rescue and the man who rescued got a jewel of a wife. I love the wedding photo. You are both good-looking people. Your hat and veil looks a lot like the one I wore at my wedding.

Patricia, This is a very beautiful and well written poem about your love and marriage and when your husband passed. You used very good descriptive words and very lovely imagery from the picture of you two. Beautiful couple! Best wishes in the contest. love and blessings, Teri

A beautiful poem and a very fitting entry for the contest. A great tribute to your husband and the memories you share. My husband passed away 22 years ago and I still miss him very much.

What a sweet poem about your husband. It is so well-written, descriptive, I could feel your love devotion to him on every line. I could feel your heartbreak or losing him way to soon. Great job as always.

I admired your poignant love poem and your "wings/fly" metaphor. Today must be a difficult day, and I am glad you put your feelings and memories into this free verse. Best wishes in the competition- Joan

Good evening Pat, This is a lovely poem. I was a little lost when you lost the rhyme in the last few lines. It set me completely off my rythm. Perhaps you can work it back into meter with the first part? It is, however, a lovely tribute to your husband. The photo is a beautiful touch. :)

What a wonderful expression of love, and best of luck in the contest. Too bad your husband died so young, or you could have enjoyed many more happy years together. The broken wings analogy is excellent and your lines flow very well. Excellent work. judi
