Hi Roxanna,
You have captured the intricacies of this momentous looming battle well.
The birth of a daughter adds fuel to the anger Lucas feels and this tale supports the behaviour he displays.
A fine chapter.
Blessings
Shirley

I'm liking the progress the story is taking, having two daughters myself, who both delight, and spur my pride, I don't understand the rejection of such. But then,...the battles are now looming the Wahaland warriors have a great leader in Joshua, unlike the cruel Lucas and the conscienceless Hamish, excellent reading Rox, well done, blessings, Roy
Typo : Hope to le(a)d such men 2: he will make his (presents) known. Presence? 3: Hamish change(d) the subject.

Thank you Roy, Lucas is just a sicko, twisted and dark. His daughter is better off not having him in her life. Thanks for the helps, I made the corrections. Happy New year friend. =} Rox

Roxanna--
A few nits mar an otherwise interesting read here. I always get a chill when some general or leader claims to "have God on his or her side." Always a bad sign and prevalent today I'm afraid.

How could I hope to (led) such great men? "lead" I assume

He will make his (presents) known." I assume you mean "presence?"

blood soaked bedclothes i(s) disgust. "in"

Thanks, enjoyed it.

Thank so much for the review and pointing out my errors. I made the corrections. I am always amazed that i can read it 100 times and still not see my errors. I do hope God is on the side of Joshua's army as I wouldn't want Him on the side of Lucas. He's crazy. =} Happy New Year. Rox

He will make his presents known. [presence known]
I think maybe Hamish is hoping Lucas might meet his end during the oncoming battle. He is a madman that is for sure. His wife and daughter will be much better off away from his scorn. Well done Rox. Happy New Year! Nancy:)

Hello Rox, and good morning. I think you have done a good job with this and how you you characterize the visciousness of both Lucas and Hamish too. Nothing and no one is safe around those two.. It will be interesting to see if you allow Hamish to do away with Lucas during the battle... Good job on developing tension and keeping it at a sustainable level with these evil personalities.
