Terrific! Love this! Perfect subject for a 50 word story! Love his "beaming face" at the end when the cookies are gone!!!! My only comment is that when he says, "It's stupid to leave cookies for him" I would add something like a "well then" or an "I guess" to show that he'd reluctantly bought what the girl said or maybe something like, Steve decided then that... Unless that was what SHE had said... this is so minor though, I'm sorry I'm writing so much about it. lol ... also missing the end quote there. Awesome little story!
