I'm impressed with Jim's teaching skills and how fast he was promoted in the company! Of course, you probably helped him with all your nursing teaching skills and health advice. I liked all the helpful tips on staying safe walking in the watery roads. I lived in Houston for six years and during the floods, it was easy to see snakes swim by!

Suggestion:
at which ever park (whichever)
over the ankle water proof (over-the-ankle waterproof)

Hi Alie. Your post about your travels and Jim's work are so very interesting. Well described, even when conveying a complicated and technical aspect. Great job. Marilyn

With this job one has to be on the ball at all times on cannot shirk their duties for it could be hazardous to ones health if they become juju red or maimed.

Thank you Alie. Every time I read about your travels as well as your husbands duties I learn something new. Are you in Texas at this time? It must be wonderful to travel the United States and see the wonders of it. I know it's not all fun and sometimes you have to do without, but you do more sightseeing than most people. Thank you for sharing your life on the road. :)

Thank you so much for reading, reviewing and your kind comments Jose. I am glad you enjoy these. We left Texas two days ago and are now near Lafayette, Louisiana. I think the best park is meeting the locals when we are in an area for more than a week.

What a great job Jim has. Roaming the country checking on pipelines, teaching others to do it, and camping EVERY DAY. I used to go camping/hiking for fun, and here's Jim getting paid to do it! Hope you enjoyed it. Did you take lots of pictures?

Thanks Phyllis for reading, reviewing and your kind comments. It's fun, when we first started we did take a lot of pictures but not now, I have them in my head (smile).

Oh my goodness -- what a wonderful job your husband has: teaching, adventure, and management! ;) :) And the best part is he gets to take his wife along on his adventures with him! :) :) Thanx for this write as now I have a much better picture of what your hubby does with respect to your other writes. :) ;) I've included some grammatical catches below - employ or ignore as you like. :) :) Yvette :)

Great start! Try having more showing, less telling. And I am curious about the environment the characters are in, which would be a way to show instead of tell. Try adding descriptions of the scenery so we can better envision the characters and where they are. Describe the parks, etc. Good job!

Thanks for reading, reviewing and your comments, this all started out as an unblog, because friends here suggested I write about our travels and being full time RVers.

Wow Alie, what a wondrous thing this story is. Now I understand all sorts of things and I also know for certain we don't have techs to check gas lines, nor do we have caravan parks with conferences rooms! And I'm very sure your 'trailer parks' outdo ours ten-fold! I also know there isn't any difference in sites for amps, over here it's all the same amp as anywhere else in the township. What I did notice, the size of your caravan parks, ours are dinky little things with maybe 60-80 sites, with a toilet block, laundry facilities, public phone, whereas yours must have hundreds of sites, therefore, you have a greater amount of facilities. This is such an interesting story, you have to see the expression on the men's faces when I recount bits they might find interesting. If ever I get to your part of the world, I won't go around with my mouth hanging open, thanks to you I'll know about certain things, which are ordinary events to your country, strangers to ours. Keep it coming Alie, now put in some food you would eat and shopping centres. Love U Anne.

Thank you so much Anne for reading, and sharing your great comments. Wow the six stars was special. We have stayed in campgrounds that only have 40 sites but most are 100 plus. Okay I will make sure I add in some food and shopping lol. Take care luv u Alie.

Hi, Alie. I swear you always have some interesting information to pass along. This post gives us a sort of bird's eye view of Jim's job and the hazards thereto. Thank you for this. Ticks can get on a person and they will not realize it for days.

Bless you and jim and Happy Holidays wherever you land for the holidays. :) Bob

I really like this expose of how you are moving around and all of the intricacies of relocating... even in an RV. Well done on setting up the story and follow through details. Enjoyable.
