Hi rhonnie. Interesting quote from the Bible. I had very involved foot surgery involving my damaged Achilles' tendon and huge bone spur. That was 7 months ago. Just had a new MRI. Achilles tear. Bone spur left behind. Most of one joint missing. The surgery was supposed to remove the bone spur. Bone chips had to be removed from my tendon by beiing cur out, sewn back together. It ended up two inches shorter than everyone else's. Just found out a few hours ago. I was told before I had the surgery that there was a 25% chance of amputation. Now I need another surgery with that same chance. It is due to diabetes and reduced blood flow to the feet. Really a bummer. But I knew something major was wrong even though nobody believed me. I feel like this makes me lazy. Not mentally. But there is not a lot I can do physically. Sorry. Thank you for letting me vent. Nicely done. Thank you for sharing

Good one...subtle implication of aging...clever, witty and effective. I like the alliteraiton of B. My only suggestion is consider replacing the semicolon with an ellipses...or a dash.
Apt presentation with artwork choice that enhances the short aphoristic poem.
