This is darling and funny! Good 5-7-5 poem with animal theme. Love the emphasis on the last line with the "socked." Precious artwork fits this poetic work beautifully. Catcalls this a winner.

This one wins the cute award. Your words are awesome as well though. You give us two play on words--"catcalls," my favorite and "socked" the cute one. As a cat owner, I can just hear those catcalls. They certainly can be loud enough to disrupt. As to the socked, I am glad that they were only stuck in stockings.
This entry should do well.

I think you will win, Ms. Yvette. I have one entered as well, but yours is more captivating. I didn't say it in my review, but I love your title.
I love our secret communications. I always try to guess which post is yours. Seriously, I do. Can you guess which post is mine in this contest? Dare you. I'll give you a hint--I went for clever, something that I know better than.
