I really enjoyed reading this speech. I, myself, from reading your speech, learned many facts about plastic that I was not aware. I was aware to some degree, but not to the extent you mentioned.
I liked how this was addressed to the young, impressionable minds of this newer generation. A warning and call for duty.

Thanks for your review Gale. When plastic was first introduced it was new, clean and handy. Now it is a scourge on the planet and sea life. Just reducing those wretched plastic straws would be a big step. I can just imagine those sunny resorts tossing millions of straws every day. Paradise swamped, when using hemp or paper for these one use menaces is a simple solution to begin this essential clean up. Cheers, judester

Yes an interesting speech delivered in a manner that will make sense to youth and practical suggestions - it is increasingly difficult not only to attract peoples/young peoples attention but to hold on to that attention
