Interesting narrative dribble. I counted fifty words as were the rules for this contest. I am sure there are many, many Missy's like this one who wait and worry. Great job expressing that point in this story. Good luck in the contest.

This is an excellent flash story and entry for the contest
one that actually has a happy ending, seems a rare thing on FS
Excellent descriptive write of the storm and tension

This is the best flash fiction entry I have read so far tonight. Your ending lines were excellent. You leave us wondering indeed, what has happened and whose car just pulled into the driveway!
