Oh my goodness! I'm filled with sadness and tears to read this little story of such a big dream. We all dream of packing the place with our adoring fans some day. Michael, you showed us how to do that. I'll always remember that silly fish poem you helped me with. I believe it was a limerick. We kept thinking up more ways to improve it. Then I lost the contest anyway. I thought we did a pretty fantastic job of perfecting it. After dozens of pm's back and forth lol! I have no doubt you will win this contest as well as all the writing contests in the great big fanstory site in the sky. RIP my friend.

It is bitter to know the bigger story behind this piece but sweet to know you maintained your trademark optimism and humor even in the face of mortality. R.I.P Michael. What a shock to read of your death. You were such an inspiration to me. My biggest aim was to beat you in a writing prompt. It only happened twice, I came first and you came second. That meant the world to me as I admired your writing so much. I also appreciated it so much when you praised my work. You will be so sadly missed by many. X
