Michael, you are missed. As I read this, I can imagine that you are waking up to that dream but it's real life and you are among the stars and you're rubbing shoulders with all the famous writers.

May you always get the best seat in the house, Michael, from which you can enjoy the show here on FanStory. Humorous, a laugh at the silliness of it all. Marilyn

To be among the stars and dream the dream through child-like eyes. May you forever twinkle, ever brighter and reach forever higher. Goodbye, my friend.

I liked this! That isn't a dream I ever had. lol I will become a fan so I can keep up with your writing. I have no additions or subtractions. I liked the picture you used up on top. I have to write another sentence so I will meet the amount of characters I need to send this. Katy Moffitt

This is the hardest review I've ever had to write. Michael was a true gentleman and I aspire to be one percent of the kind of man he was. If I can do that, I'll die happy and hopefully see him once again. RIP. Thank you once again for everything you helped me with.

I bet that is worth to see the next movie superstar. We all love movies. Old movies are gone and new ones come in as replacements. Nice story. I like this story.

good job on this one, difficult task of writing a story with so little words I interpreted this to be a dream and that wasn't his blockbuster as all.. good luck in the contest.

Really enjoyed the story. If I am right in my interpretation, this is a commentary on staying humble even after you have become famous. That you are no more important as the creator than the people who view your art. This story surely has other interpretations, which makes this even better. One small suggestion would be to italicize "me" in "me, the next Hollywood superstar". I think it adds a little more emphasis and amazement from the narrator that will get passed to the reader.

This work has reached the exceptional level

I learned of Michael's passing through a friend's post on Facebook this morning. I am greatly saddened.

Though I have been absent from the site for over a year, Michael was a rock star and a reviewer everyone hoped to hear from.

Michael's contributions from a literary standpoint were genious. His contributions from the heart were thought-provoking and creative, always giving one pause to consider, or reconsider an issue or situation.

My thoughts are with his family and friends, many here on FS.

May Michael Cahill's torch light up the Heavens, and shine back to us through the stars.

Respectfully,

Mary Wakeford

You have done a lot with only 50 words. That isn't easy to do. And the surprise twist at the end was the capper. But like your title says, one day we all have to "wake to the dream" and put the dream into action. Good job!
