Hello Connie,
I love to hear/read of couples reunited after years of separation and/or sadness.
Your poem is rich in emotive imagery and possesses a positive message for individuals of a certain age. I had to smile when I first saw your chosen artwork as I have used this in the past for a poem about celebrating the aging process.

Your poem as written is genuinely heartfelt. The words and rhythm of the poem flow easily with meaning.

Your notes wrapped it up and tied it with a bow. What a lovely story for those two.

Excellent Poem! The author's words are creative, inspirational, and
thought provoking. Thank you for the author's notes - I enjoyed reading

Isn't life funny Connie? And even though these two dear people were led in different directions, and in two different unhappy relationships, it still seems as thought they were destined to be together. Beautufully written dear girl. In tetrametric stanzas, and smooth, articulate, abab rhymed stanzas. Well. Done, blessings Roy

How very beautiful this is.
I loved every line, but especially 'a dance with life so close to done.'
Just captivating.
A friend of mine in her mid 60's recently starting dating? a man in his mid 70's.
Theirs is such a dance.
This poem 'dances' with magic!
