Yes a reflection on the 'the kiss of Judas' here so expertly portrayed through the Acrostic format with clarity and ultimately the price paid 'loyalty sold'

Thanks for the thoughtful review and sparkly stars zanya. I can only imagine how useless and heavy those coins felt after he realized what he had done. Have a wonderful Sunday, judester

Sorry no sixes left for this superb piece. This was outstanding in a tough competition of Betrayal. The artwork was all that was needed to make me tear up. The god-man who paid the price for you and me. Perfect in every way, yet betrayed and forsaken. I will always praise him!
All my best,
Sally

Praise the Lord. Imagine how useless those pieces of silver seemed when he realized the gravity of his betrayal. Thanks for your encouraging review and phantom six stars, I appreciate your thoughts on this. Cheers, j

Awesome! This poem may be speaking directly about Judas's betrayal of the King if Kings, this type of betrayal happens everyday from corporate greed to individual greed, money is the root of evil! This type of betrayal tears families in two. A great message is told on so few words.

You have written an excellent acrostic poem. I admire your smooth use of rhyming words and your smooth flow of lines. There is also a strong feeling of betrayal in your words. Best wishes for the contest.

Thanks for the encouraging review. It seems everyone has a price, so how refreshing is it to find someone that cannot be bought, regardless the shine and weight of the coin. I see someone like trump, surrounded by gold and a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity of being president, yet instead of seeing this magnificent platform, sells himself and the country, daily, for his 'bag of silver.' Cheers, j
