Hello YM,
Looks like Sunshine would shine on a cloudy day.
Bugs, love em or hate em.
This is an excellent short story with a great ending,
especially for the driver.
[A nice man...] tells me the author is probably a woman.
Guys wouldn't say it like that... back in the day [A great guy], today [This Dude]
Well done
Robert

LOL, well, "Sunshine", judging from the picture you chose, is aptly named -- I love it! And actually, the premise -- the beetle is responsible for this fellow's introduction to five females, huh? Adorable! Good luck in the contest. :))

Very nice angle for this story. It was easy to read and the despite the word limit, the whole story was revealed well. I also enjoyed the comparative nature between the car named Sunshine and the pending storm Good luck in the contest.

I loved the bond between the narrator and 'Sunshine'. I like the personification used in this poem. You could not have chosen a better piece of artwork to accompany your humorous writing. This was so creatively funny. Liked how the narrator gave credit to Sunshine for the treasure at the end of the trail. Best of luck in the contest. You deserve it!

I don't mean to burst your bubble, but you died in "Sunshine" in the snow storm. you just went to heaven where you will spend all eternity. Then again, if you get all the young ladies pregnant and they all have triplets, then you're in HELL! Good luck in the contest, where ever you are.

Ain't it beautiful when life treats you to a treat and lets the sunshine in. :) A VW is a very nice car. Yours must be related to Herbie. This is a veery good entry for the Blizzard Flash Fiction Contest. Thank you for sharing a nice warm smile.

Dear Mystery Writer,
Uh huh! Changing your tune now, huh? I bet you just didn't know that Sunshine had already prepared your Christmas present for you... naughty, naughty - not giving her the credit she deserves! hahahaha
Nice - good luck!

If your car is going to break down, then it's a good idea to have it happen where there are helpful people around. It seems your little yellow car did just that. Well done, that was a lovely little flash fiction story. Good luck in the contest. :) Sandra xx

I love your story. What a perfect ending. Thank you, Sunshine, indeed. All the times that she let you down that day let to your fun with the sorority sisters.
This is just a charming story. The charm started when you named her sunshine. Then, she gets stuck in a blizzard.
Good luck in the contest. I bet this wins.
