This is deep for an 8 word poetry contest. I am still pondering exactly what you have in mind. Clearly matters look good, and the appearance of good fortune colors how you love. It could be other things as well though.
I love the juxtaposition of sunshine and shades. And I like the use of shades as a verb. Both show how expertly this is crafted. And I like the heart perceiving. That is something usually reserved for the eyes and mind. So that is unusual as well.
This is very good. Good luck in the contest.

This eight-word poem, It's All How You Look at It, has the required number of words and seems to warn against the distraction of symbolic importance which takes our minds off what is.

A very well-written eight-word poem about our perception of what we see, we all see things differently and from different angles. We seldom have the exact same perception of everything.

Point of view can affect our perception - which side are we standing on? Just stepping out of or into the light can make a big difference. Very profound thought simply stated in 8 words. Well done.

Wow. This is an excellent entry. So much said in just 8 words. Illusion ... Often things aren't what they really seem and if we're not careful we can be deceived. Perceived sunshine is very alluring. Great alliteration. I love the use of sunshine and shades, and also how you put the word shades in black. Perfect artwork and great presentation. Very well done. Best wishes in the contest! :)

Ain't that a fact. I have also heard that warped vision condition described as being blinded by love...a human sees what they want to see and disregards the rest, to mutilate a Paul Simon lyric...excellent post.

A colourful write and our heart often sees what it wants to see and it is not always reality, it is about our attitude I expect, I saw wonderful sunshine shades here in your words, love Dolly x

Illusions can certainly cloud our perceptions, Mystery Poet. Sometimes we only see what we want to see and not how things really are.
It's a phenomenon commonly known as "eyes wide shut."
Good 8 word poem and entry for the contest.
Best of luck to you.
