I think what you say has a great deal of truth to it. I don't think a lot of parents have any idea of the impact they can have - and most especially fathers on daughters and mothers on sons. It's crazy. And it's also crazy how many parents are willing to just give up those rights and privileges to the children's friends and to other things like FaceBook or TV or other influences, as you say.
It's a scary world out there. Kids need to know WE have their back.

Yes, I agree. I feel bad that their world seems colder and lonlier compared to being brought up in the heady 60's. Cheers, j
