Never forget... all those who fought for all of us all these times. I was in Washington DC for a few days last summer. Arlington seems to go on forever. So sad to know that so many, and so very many more, have lost their lives to war. Well said.

Thanks for the insightful review. Wish we had stuck to "war to end all wars." sigh, j

This naani, Between the Rows, uses four lines and twenty-one syllables and brings our thoughts to a Veterans' Day sight that reminds us of loss, sacrifice, and honor.

Dear Mystery Author,

OooOOOooOoo... what a lovely poem with an even lovelier and more powerful sentiment! I can imagine that a great many readers will love this one. The images are frank and real and the words you've chosen are delightful to create the crisp, horrid picture. Good luck!

Very well written. I also love the picture as well. Good luck in the contest. The winds are very chilly where I am living. Feels more like winter even fall.

Thanks for the encouraging review. Am house-sitting in the country for a week in countryside Quebec. Very cold here also but I take my walk through the forest and frozen apple trees every morning. Keep cosy. judester
