Congratulations on taking home the contest ribbon. It's simple to see how you won. Strong visual imagery with a message. Good rhyming with "in" and pain (pain, mind, remain and pain, remain, sane). Nice work.

Excellent topic and a great rhyming pattern with your 1-6-1. Congratulations on placing FIRST in the contest. You had a worthy entry and a well deserved win. :)

The picture is very impressive and matches the story of the brain. I enjoyed reading the phrase as it is so true, our brain is helpless without pushing it to find some peace during our awareness. Terry xoox

A very well-written 1-6-1 poem about pain that can be devastating when there is nothing that seems to take the pain away for good, and our minds feel to go insane.

It's fair enough. A true statement. You need more evidence of pain. I couldn't feel it.
Pain teaches the mind to remain sane. Pain forces the mind to stay sane.
Taunting is more of a long term action verb.
Something you'd do to a child.

It really does. Sometimes you wonder if you're the one with the issue, LOL. Very well penned and the syllable count is spot on. The rhyme is strong and presentation is perfect, too...Red font adds to the overall effect of PAIN! Nicely done. Good luck in the contest.

This one-six-one, Chronic Challenge, has the syllables in the right place and attempts to have the reader imagine a life of unrelenting pain. Impossible conditions.

Excellent slant rhyme pairings with this fine 1-6-1 poem. Intense meaning packed in few words. So true. Finely presented too. I think this poem is immensely effective. Bravo and good luck. Taunts is the right verb choice.

Warmly, rd
