This was an interesting poem. I enjoyed the story of Gessy, that was pretty cool how it ended. I think you misspelled tragic. One question: I thought Jews don't believe in an afterlife, though I agree the jews deserve to go to heaven and the Nazis straight to hell. Nice job.

Do the Jews believe in 'Afterlife?'
Christ died and was crucified for our and The High Jewish Priests sins.
If you believe in 'Thr Second Comibg' then you believe in ' The Afterlife.'
    Thanks Sir Earl.

Wow! What a wonderful and uplifting story for Gessay to be born from 'the ashes' so that she could live a long and fruitful life!! :) ;) Thank you for bringing her story to all of us! :) Yvette

Hi! I really liked this story of a child born from death. It's a horrid thing to happen but it sometimes does. Not usually like this though! My only problem was the WWII lesson. I'm not quite sure what it was about. Did it have something to do with the circumstances of her birth? If so then there needs to be a more direct pathway drawn between the two. If it is just to reinforce the time in which she was born, I'm not sure it is really necessary. If you had wanted to direct attention to the time period you may want to consider a topic more relevant to the circumstances of her birth. Why did her mother jump? A very cool story though, a great find!

Time Period reference showing her mothers immediate pain and, of course, the Jews.
