Endearing. Colors in nature are vivid images that touch us. I like this "staccato" style where words seem to be scattered around but they make perfect sense at the end.

Grey/brown can have a tint of blue in the sunshine. I liked your little ode to the squirrel. We don't have them here, I have seen the grey ones in London. When I was walking on crutches in a park, one cheeky squirrel climbed up my metal crutch, oops, that's not a branch, he scuttled away. Gave me a laugh. Well done.
