Good job on this contest with the comparison between the cat and mouse and their animosity towards each other. Congratulations on your win! A well deserved win for sure

Thank you so much for your kind words and for reading my poem.

A very well-written cat and mouse story that is as old as cat and mouse in one house. The mouse will be weary of the cat that are able to catch the little irritation that invades his private space with one pounce.

Firstly congratulations on winning the competition. This poem is so worthy. Evrything it says is so true. Very well written with excellent rhyme. I am a cat lover but not so sure after reading that. Cheers Jen.

Thanks so much, you are very kind. My family loves cats, although I will say that I'm not thrilled when it drops a mouse at my feet. It's in their nature I guess. Thanks again. :)

Really funny and fun. The "speeches" of the two animals fit ingeniously into their characters and behaviour. They are very descriptive, and as a special gift-- well rhymed.

Absolutely love this -- you've managed through an entirely 'dialogue' write to create personality (that we mostly expect, but your word choices are wonderful!) and facial expression images in the mind of the reader! :) :) There is nothing else to say but GREAT JOB! :) :) Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest! :)

Thought I'd read most of the cat vs. mouse conflicts, but this one is really good.
Covers the bases from both points of view .. great idea! Felt a little downcast in the end, as I really wasn't looking for a winner!
Good presentation!

Thank you for reading and reviewing. It's up in the air who the winner is, lol.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. It is almost true. I say almost because cats like to play with prey before going in for the kill and some actually do manage to escape and worse, breed inside the house. They wouldn't come in on their own. The poxy cat brings them in in the first place.

I loved it! Cute writing about the qualities of each animal. I like how you used very descriptive words to tell us more about the animals. I also like the pictures you used. That added a lot.
