OMG!! I've seen a film about these killer ants, they can eat anything in their path as fast at the speed of light!! What a horrible way to go!! This was surely a brilliant contest entry which, again, you should have won! You have a busy mind, my friend!! :)) Sandra xx

I think Dean Kuch was still competing then, so?

OMG. Staked on top of a killer ant hill
Great simile:like a masked man with a chainsaw in a china cabinet.
The details made me cringe, especially the part about the eyes. Excellent write, Bill. I'm off to vote.

Thank you, Shari. I knew it would have to be cringeworthy to compete in Horror.

Wow, this story certainly deserves six stars. It is absolutely fantastic. You put the reader into the victim's body and take us along for the ride. It should be a winner in the contest. I wish you the very best in the competition.

Thanks, PBB, for the vote of confidence.

I like how this is descriptive! You could make this out as a book if you wanted to. The narrator is very distressed, which is interesting! Keep writing!
Good luck!

I enjoyed reading this work a great deal. The imagery and wonderfully descriptive language is outstanding. you had me ready for a happy poem about childbirth, I think you did that on purpose, very clever..
