I am incredibly honored by your exceptional rating and thoughtful review. I love attempting new formats - even restrictive ones, and I have no idea why! I know it has something to do with the challenge of presenting a message within prescribed parameters...
I am so pleased that my words are not "preachy or political;" I truly attempted to avoid that...which is why I must have edited this piece at least thirty times before I posted it!

This chain poem, For Humanity's Sake, has the proper framing and asks the bleeding question of why we let 'elected' officials make decisions that go one-hundred-eighty degrees from the direction we really want.

I am incredibly honored by your exceptional rating and review. I have never attempted a Chain poem. I thought it would be a welcomed challenge - especially since it requires the poet to rhyme - and that is not my strong suite! I loved playing with the words and rhyme in my attempt to get my message across to the reader.
