Hi Diane, this is a beautiful piece of poetry writing. I'm sorry coming late into this but my family visiting has taken up all my time. I'm now only getting back to normal. Your poem was a joy to read. All the best. Ulla:)))

So beautifully stated. I concur with every word of your powerful message, with all my heart. I am so stunned at the vile nonsense and hate that keeps occurring in our society. This is a perfectly written chain rhyme. I hope you do well in the contest. SIX-STARS for humanity. :)

Hello Diane, I cannot fault this piece of work. It is so well written in a form I have not yet tried - indeed I'd not even heard of it till this contest. Your words are well chosen and in no way contrived to meet the requirements of this form. Good enjambment, particularly -
If we do not learn from the past somehow,
become embittered with malice, and bow
to apathy's evils that now arise,
then our own destruction we will allow... A really superior write. Good Luck in the contest. Somehow I don't think you need it. Regards Dorothy x

Hello Dear Dorothy,
Oh my goodness!
I am incredibly honored by your exceptional rating and complimentary review.
This form is new to me as well; in fact, I had never heard of it until this contest was posted. I loved the prescriptive requirements and the attending challenge of writing something meaningful.
Thank you also for the best wishes! I would love to place, but more importantly, I would love if my words took hold and humanity became the true winner...
Thank you again!

Your poem speaks of destruction of humanity and how we can all contribute to save it. At present the Western civilization is on the brink of destruction by the ideals of Socialism and Communism. These two ideologies have killed millions of Christians because they are God-less ideologies. Thanks for sharing.

This is a wonderful chain rhyme poem, my friend. Yes, indeed, we must make a stand for humanity, today. A great picture to pair with it. Good luck and Happy Halloween! ~Kerry

I wish that everyone would realize we are all connected.
Why must people act so ignorant towards that which is different?
Do they really wish the world was one flavor?
A world of just vanilla, just chocolate would be TOO boring.
I love what you've written here. This is a wonderful entry for this contest.
Blessings...

This is excellently written and the message is so important, I chose to give you an extra star. A chain rhyme poem seems hard to do, yet you do it with such finesse'. Your words speak volumes about the hate and violence happening in our country. I love it all but, my favorite stanza is the first one. Your words are so true, "All life is a treasure to celebrate..." I love your fervor and yet neutral stance, on these hotblooded issues we now face. The poem is so well written and the message is so right on! I also love your choice of artwork to show the many faces of humanity. I can't say enough about this proclamation of spirit! Thank you for saying what we need to hear.
Take care, Jesse

Hello Jesse!
Oh my goodness!
I am honored by your exceptional rating and incredibly thoughtful review.
This is my first attempt at a Chain Poem; I loved the challenge it afforded me to pen a meaningful message in such a prescriptive format.
I truly do believe in the goodness and heart of man and that all of us are worthy of celebration and respect; we just need to be reminded - especially now...
Thank you again!

Hi Diane
It's an amazing piece, especially considering it was your first time at a chain rhyme. It is so good to hear you talking about celebrating and respecting each, and every one, of us. We do need to be reminded, now, more than ever!
You deserved the sixth star!

I can hear your words being read out loud. You have a strong steady rhythm and beat. Your words are also relevant to today, we should come together instead of being so divided. "As we ponder life under star filled skies" is a beautiful line.

Amen. It's such a timely Chain Rhyme poem. Your last two lines have so much truth in it:
one path: revoke such vile profanity
in order to save our humanity...
Well done Mrs. KT. Hope you won a place in the contest.

Strong words, written with emotion and conviction and a wonderful collage of faces that backs up what you are saying in your chain poem. All life is a treasure and you have to wonder if those in power, all round the world, will ever come to realise that. Well done and good luck in the contest,
cheers
