I guess baby armadillos look like grey pine cones. You sure like armadillos. I once saw a pair of armadillo boots. I'm off to read your other Armadillo poems.

That is adorable. Loved that second line. I am glad you write about these remarkable little creatures because you always teach me a few things and find the greatest pics.

Hi Bill, He looks like a sweet little fellow. I liked how you played with the words. It's really a very well written little rhyming poem. I just wonder where you get all your ideas from. All the best. Ulla:))

Looks like he is getting his grub on. Too bad there are no ants in the mix, I bet that would really get the little fella going. I was shocked to read that armadillos eat ants. I think the next time I suffer an ant invasion in my house, I am going to go out find an armadillo and let him have an ant fest feast.

Armadillos carry leprosy, so I would suggest borax.

So cute! Hard to believe it will grow up into a pest that can wreak havoc on a lawn! ;) Love your description of it as a " nimble nut" -- just perfect!;) Thank you for sharing! :) Yvette

Very clever Bill. You have a good wit about you that can be whimsical as in this one or can hit hard like at least one previous one. Don't ask me which one. It was about hunting, I think. Thumadillos is very cute. Thank you for sharing
