I much enjoy your true story, Mav. By the sounds of it your life after the kidnapping was quite disastrous but those very early formative years did furnish you with a shield and through all that you arrive at a rather profound conclusion.
Excellent warm narrative voice that makes this a pleasure to read and remember.
I wish you much luck with the Contest Committee.

Thanks so much, Ange. I was trying to sneak this in, but I'm pleased you found it now that I see your reaction. It's amazing what is in one's inner core they may not even be aware of. I imagine it can be both good and bad too. It's worthwhile to discover. Well, It never bothered me not knowing my father, but it was revealing finding out exactly what my earliest years were like. :)) Mav

Sometimes things happen in our lives that is hard to understand till we get all the facts years later in life. We learn to forgive and forget and to be glad we were loved at an early age.
