Hi Zanya, i think this was written wit the tongue planted firmly in the cheek. I had me smile. I also detected the very start of the sufragettes. A lovely chapter. All the bet. Ulla:)))

A nice period piece well-written and showing early elements of the suffragette movement, along with the remnants of the old guard in conflict. Lady Mathilde was quite the forerunner of her day.
One small edit required just to have the editing standard match the writing quality....
"Lady Mathilde," Gregoirecalled , " (space required)
