I thought it was a great twist on the assignment.
I read it as a person speaking to their spouse, but honestly didn't know if that was your intent or not. I suppose it alternatively could have been two people married to others.... interesting stuff in a small package.

One could read this two different ways I think - my first thought was, it's two married people having an affair and after a rough year, neither one has separated as was promised. OR - the married couple has had a rough year, and one person says they're still "in". Well done, I like this.

You've worked the key phrase into this piece very nicely. It doesn't seem to intrude into the work but be a natural part of it. I like what you've done with this short piece and the photo is just perfect for it. Really good work.
