It's a disgrace the way Susan Collins was treated after her vote for Kavanaugh. All this concern for women is a surprise after the way they were willing to overlook the antics of Bill Clinton and numerous Kennedy men. Whatever happened to rule of law? Now it's mob law. You make some excellent points in your poem. Trump has done a lot, as you mention. It's his mouth that gets him into trouble, as you noted. Great job with your rhyme and flow. It's hard to deal with people who automatically believe someone because she's a women, even if there's a lack of evidence. Although I agree with many of your points, it's hard to change minds that are already made up. Worthy of a six. judi

You're very welcome. It's mostly Trump's style I disapprove. Some of his policies seem to be working. I'm angry by the overblown antics and rhetoric on the other side, though. I've never seen such a disgusting bunch of women, either. What if it were their son or husband being wrongfully accused of sexual assault? judi

I heartily agree with your view point. He is a president who has been much maligned by the press and the Democrats...who, we know, will never find anything good to say no matter what he does (most of them anyway). I was so happy when Judge Kavanaugh was nominated. I believe in prayer changing things. Good job!

I read on the internet that Ford sent a letter to one of the news stations, through her lawyer,that she will not be following up on the matter and will not participate in any effort to impeach him. I have not heard it on the mainstream media.

I don't know. I think they are fired up with hate, and feel they can do anything they want to people they disagree with. It is truly scary and the fake media is saying "they're not mobs. what mobs?"

In many countries, election time is very violent. People are killed at and going to the voting centers. I pray that this does not become something we experience in this country.

I hope it doesn't, too. But going by the way some Dems treat people they don't agree with, it has gotten to be a scary thing.
I was advised not to get a Ted Cruz (for senator) sign for my yard because of that very thing, but I got one and roped it to a tree. :) so far so good.

Politics is definitely not something into which I dabble, but for ALL past presidents, respect I have given to the office and refrained from the hateful public attitudes and, yes, assaults, even when someone I voted for did something I did not agree with. But too much negative emotion has been stirred for too personal of reasons...Americans speak with our vote and respect the winner of that vote....but suddenly, if the one we didn't vote for wins, we're supposed to tear the country apart? I don't even recognize the country in which I was raised...but I am still proud to be an American over any other country on this earth...again, thank you for your write! :) :)
