a a wife and a loving mother. - Extra 'a' in this sentence :)

Well written, passionate story full of the rawness that rendered such an experience...unforgettable. I found no errors other than the stray 'a'! This is worth a six, but alas, I have none to give. Know I would, if I did. Excellent entry into the contest. It's clean, crisp, brief, and thoughtfully written. Good luck in the contest. I'd dare say it share fare well...

A powerful write and a powerful read. She is now 36? Fun fact: 36 is my favorite number. She should be extremely lucky that she won this battle against cancer. They caught it early, now shes living at the age of 36! Congrats, to you and from family <3

    Thank you for reading.

She hasn't won the battle, but she won the war. Childhood cancer will often manifest again by 40. She is at high risk for breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
She is going to loose her leg.
But she is here. And all things considered we are blessed.

A heart rending story, which would be every parent's worst nightmare. I can only imagine the long and hard journey. How good it is to read in your author notes that the monster was overcome.

The monster is at bay for now. I keep a close watch. Childhood cancer leads into possible adult cancer. My daughter is enrolled in a long term survivor clinic.
But yes, the monster sleeps for now.
