Though many tell me it is impossible, I swear I recall being three! I remember my birthday dress, the color of the flowers on my cake, my baby cousin reaching into the icing before "The Birthday Song"--it was a magical time when I didn't HOPE to be a princess...I WAS ONE! You capture all of that in this charming little poem...

That is the secret. Once a person,old or young, is contented with self, all the more reason happy with life, and who better to relay that sentiment than the child.
