I've never had a panic attack but have known those who have. You've explained exactly how they feel and the terror they bring. I might put a comma after ...and oh, the chest pains. Might make it a bit more intense but with or without it story is excellent. Hugh

I thought you did a good job in relaying the feeling of a panic attack. Although it turned out to be nothing serious, it didn't take away that feeling of fear. Nicely done.

I have had panic attacks in the past from anxiety and I don't have chest pains, but I'm in danger of passing out because of hyperventilating. I know that each person is different, and no matter what kind you have they are scary. Interesting topic for fear contest entry. Thank you for promoting your work. Good luck!

While I have not had the experience myself, they've described them to me as an all encompassing suffocating feeling--as if they'd been tossed in a box underground and buried alive.
I have had a massive heart attack.
I can honestly say I could do without either.
Your story is well constructed and fits withing the constraints of the definition of micro-flash fiction.
