Ricky, this chapter reads really well and I also want to express my condolences on the loss of your child. We lost a grandson at the age of four and one half. Some days I'm over it with sadness and others I'm not. I pray you continue with this book, it's up to you - you may want to lengthen this chapter a little. Lisa

What a very emotional read and also a well-written account of love and loss. Your words are very heartwrenching. The dialogue is very effective in sharing your feelings of pain and grief.

Written by father and son, and then reading your poem, I realize how very sweet those words are. I'm kind of speechless to be honest, Ricky - and I am humbled to read your words, especially about the coffin lid opening.
as The Night Sky bekons (beckons) me, I await My Destiny and Fate.
It today, has been over days? - I am not sure what you mean to say here.
My very best wishes to you and your family,
Carol

A very sorrowful yet moving write about a son that has passed on and a father that, by the chosen title, can never say goodbye. Thank you, Doc, for sharing this piece of your heart with us! :) :)
