Aw...what a heartwrenching poem but a well-written and beautifully formatted 5-7-5 poem about the stars and the sky. This is a perfect contest entry. I have a feeling you will do well!

Wow! Way to pull the strings on everyone's heart. This packs a truckload of emotion in only seventeen syllables. I love the art work here. This is a great entry into this contest. Good luck!

Thank you for the fantastic review, Lynda. The artwork was actually a picture of them standing in a sunset but used an art program to make it look like they were under the night sky. Impressive, huh? Lol. I'm glad you liked the piece. Have a great rest of your weekend.

My, that is good. Such an honest mistake. Children see their own visions in the heavens. As a child, I thought that sunbeams from clouds were Jesus on his way. I suppose it has to do with the imagery that poets have created over the years.

Awe, this is beautiful, so sad, so sweet. The questions of a child always seem to sometimes overwhelm and amaze us with their honesty and innocence. I like everything about this. Well done!

Oh my goodness! I don't know if the voting has started for this because I've been off for a bit, but there's lots of emotion in this short little write (with perfect syllable count) which I am sure will pull some heartstrings of the voters! Best of luck! Hope you are back to driving by now, too!

Thank you for the fantastic review, M. I dearly appreciate the gracious stars and good luck wishes. It's actually in the booth now. This is the idea I came up with when I was thinking about stars and sky, how people always point up when telling kids about Heaven. I'm glad you liked the piece. Thank you again.

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem about the night sky filled with stars that reminds children about their beloved mommy that is not with them anymore but somewhere between the million stars.

So good! So sweet! and so heart wrenching! Can't imagine the scenario or the pain a child must feel missing a parent who has passed... ugh. Very beautiful! Wonderful contest entry!

These words are heart-breaking and this is such a poignant write, so few words and yet the tears fall in strangers when reading them, this poem is very powerful, love Dolly x
