Hey Badger, I think you caught a wave or a few waves and just followed where they took you. It's an interesting combination of free flow and organization that you have produced, and I agree that one of the main reasons for doing this stuff is the interplay of what writers and readers see in the work.

Greetings Badger 29, your flow does roll through my mind, finding it sublime. Although the according to Rush bit runs contrary to the rest of this poem, I understand a deeper meaning pointing to a willingness to hear a contrian view which is appealing to me as I do that also. If you're currently half past the Century mark I'm about a decade older (hitting 60 in August) your conclusions section is Worthy of six stars as I only divert slighly to a Conservative Liberal side possible due to age. It's hard to know where to begin. Your style is unique and fast-paced, as if you have something urgent to do...like suck in all the life that you can? I I love the string of words that seem to coincidently rhyme, as well as the stream of consciousness. The urgency of applying your newly arrived(or late) awareness seems akin to a top mechanic working on a 12-cylinder engine currently firing on 11 cylinders, determined to get the Ferrari back in the race...no doubt it/he will.

The Mind's I: Fantasies and Reflections on Self and Soul is a 1981 collection of essays and other texts about the nature of the mind and the self, edited with commentary by philosophers Douglas R. Hofstadter and Daniel C. Dennett. The texts range from early philosophical and fictional musings on a subject that could seemingly only be examined in the realm of thought, to works from the twentieth century where the nature of the self became a viable topic for scientific study.

Freemasons classify Thought as materialistic or idealistic. Material is projected into our minds as an echo (like a sonar ping) while ideals project our minds into the reality we are discerning.

We breathe life...

The breaths are impression and expression of self-created reality

Hofstadter created artificial personalities in computers to observe their development. Egos are caught in a perpetual loop of questions about what the composition of zeroes and ones that comprise their "existence" really means. The meaning of life is created by what we understand.

This is an interesting poem that peels information from the heart of words like splitting an onion. Your skilled writing makes fifty seem far behind me all of a sudden, and I had been doing so well at ignoring the fact that I am firmly on the downhill stretch.
