A very nice poem about the beauty of Autumn and the warning of winter. I enjoyed Autumn for a moment, regretted Jack Frost and then was back to rejoicing in the beauty of Autumn. Great photo as well.

-Very nice image and presentation.
-The syllable count is good.
-The imagery is vivid, and the
personification of autumn with
a crown is effective.
-I like your concluding line, as well.
-Good luck in the contest.

This is an excellent 5-7-5 poem and entry for the Autumn contest
with solid personification and imagery of Autumn.
Jack Frost can wait awhile before rejoicing
it's still eighty degrees here.
Excellent art work to match
Well done
Best wishes in the contest

Excellent. I love the personification of Fall. Nice use of the five seven five format. The poem flows and connects throughout. Hard to do with such a short length. On another level, one wonders if Jack Frost and Autumn have some type of relationship. Very good. Hugh

I certainly hope you win the contest. This is wonderfully done. The picture reminiscent of Autumn in all her glory. She is a beauty! Thank you for this, I am certainly ready for the fall splendor to begin.
Kindest regards,

Great entry! Summed up the beauty of Autumn in three short lines. She does deserve a crown for all the colors that Jack Frost has splashed upon her. Should do well in the contest .

When one considers that the original ode form was a lengthy diatribe in praise of something it is amazing that the form has been cut down to 5-7-5 size. This is phrased like a haiku in that it has an excellent satori line that offers another vway of looking at it. Mr. Frost will not have long to wait. In fact I heard on the radio that temoperatures last night in parts of the UK fell to below freezing.
So Jack is back in employment once more.

Nice point of view about upcoming fall. The crown of leaves composing the glory of change with winter nipping close behind. I found this an appealing read.

A very well-written 5-7-5 ode to Autumn. The lady of Autumn wears the golden crown of the season before the ice queen will take over from her to bring the snow of winter.
