Well he was there to say I do but didn't if she ran away. It is very sad when this happens. I wonder if men do it too? It is always shown as a run away bride.
I like the internal rhyme

Quite a bit of narrative (beginning with the title) in only eight syllables. On one hand, it's amusing, largely because of the well-chosen rhymes; on the other hand, it's extremely sad if the reader merely asks "Why is she running away?"
