This is a well written poem about strife that uses good word choices and rhyming. Your poem is written in couplets. I'm thinking some of the couplets may have been switched around a bit. This happens to me, too, when I write in couplets. It disrupts the flow of the rhyming a bit, however, that doesn't detract from your theme. Nice job and good luck in the contest. Marilyn

Excellent

Quite a few people feel the way your poem, is expressing feelings you are describing. Some more days than others sometimes we have to find away to soothe our own souls before someone else can. Since sometimes even when others try we don't notice.
