Absolutely logical. Who says 'Mary' has to be a human name?
Who could blame people for being surprised if Mary wasn't a ewe?
I wish you'd worked 'ewe' into the poem, though.
Quite amusing.

This poem, Mary Being Quite Contrary, adds a new twit to the ancient nursery rhyme that I had not considered. I guess Mary had a little ram once too.

HELLO BILL: Man to Man...Aha ha ha ha ha! Mary had a little ram. I had not looked at it that way. Aha ha ha ha.This adds a new twist to my poem. Funneee...I tell you, Funneee. Looks like Mary didn't "DODGE," that ram. Aha ha ha ha...WHEW! Allow me to request of you to help me with my sense of humor. You are a funny dude, Bill. Here's hoping that my wife don't see this. Lol, unless you are like a border collie I saw on Facebook who had a little lamb follow him everywhere - so funny. Your rewriting of this old nursery rhyme is cute, I like it. These look like UK sheep because they have tails :))
