This is a powerful poem that I hope is published -- it's a message that must be shared, although the addicted aren't even the ones who need it -- they already know, but seldom acknowledge the message. But those whose lives are affected by the addicted can benefit, knowing that others understand... (*sigh*)

This is powerful. Love can be an addiction and not really love. Or this can be talking about addiction- we can love the addiction. But the addiction never lives us back. So yes, walk away.

Ooh, I really like this. The beginning four lines are so good... And then that last line is just fantastic! Syllables are good, the mood and message of this poem are terrific. I like the image, and presentation too. A very good entry!

For me, this is a clear cut winner. The photo, words and choice of subject all meld so well together. As soon as I saw the picture I gasped and then continued to until then end of your piece.
