Wow, you managed to capture a lifetime of love and romance in 15 words of less, which is quite achievement. Great usage of word economy.

I love the word "commodore" in this poem. It reminds me of chivalry.

I love how you have incorporated rhyme and meter into such a brief poem! The picture you have chosen compliments both your poem specifically and the theme of the contest quite nicely.
