As one would! A peasful passing and a sensible approach to death. There are worse ways of dying than keeling over in the vegetable garden. As my mother-in-law said when one of her friends dropped dead while pruning roses, "What a great way to go. Wasn't she lucky?"

This is so good! I like the picture, I like the title, I like the descriptive sentence that precedes the story; I like the story, and it's truly funny! (And the fact that her husband just died and she's talking about the vegetables, makes it that much more funny!) I think the dialogue is realistic (perhaps between two older women)...I can almost actually hear this conversation! Very well done, a terrific contest entry!!!
