A very well-written sad poem. When we are getting visions of future events it is a gift that we can use for good, if we only use it for evil then it can be see as witchy.

I think this is a good entry for the Sad Poems contest. It touches on death but also allows the reader to feel the sadness of having the ability of being able to see into the future - whether one wanted to or not. The layout is good, nice and easy to read. I like this and would not call you a witch, just for the record. Good luck in the competition. ~DD

I think this is a good entry for the Sad Poems contest. It touches on death but also allows the reader to feel the sadness of having the ability of being able to see into the future - whether one wanted to or not. I can see where that could be horrid, knowing something bad is going to happen. Especially if you have no way to stop it. The poem is well-written, descriptive, I could feel your character's sadness, heartbreak on every line. Good luck with your contest.

This is good... different take on the contest prompt! While I love the first line as it really intrigues me, the rest, while still good, just lets me down a little bit. My favorite stanza is the last one. There is a starkness in that first line of that last stanza and definitely a sadness felt there... Nice job! Best, Kelly

That would be cause for sadness. Especially when you know someone is going to die,
Could you warn them? Could you prepare them some way.. then it would be cause for celebration if you could change the outcome
