Ah, music to my ears, eyes and stomach! My wife and I vegans for over twelve years. Love to see writings about the luscious bounty of nature. Nice pace and flow. Now, if you could have just squeezed in a watermelon somehow! Lol. Excellent. Hugh

Now you've made me hungry! Loved this s lot, it looks like a hard poem to write. I usually dont attempt poems with certain word counts and sllyable. Great job for this contest. Good luck.

Beautifully written and illustrated. It's that time of year again; the farmers' markets are full of wonderful goodies, and the ripe fruit of nature's bounty. This is the first year we've grown grapes, and it's fun to just go outside and pluck them off the vine. Very well structured poem, with a nice rhythm. Kind regards, Ann Marie

This is my favorite of all the entries for this particular contest. Some didn't make much sense. You've followed the rules and written a poem that not only flowed nicely, but actually made sense. Lovely artwork to go with it. Well done.

Terrific entry into this 26 word poetry contest. What a simple subject, but what rich and colorful language used to describe it. This made my mouth water! lol But seriously, "succulent plump luscious dripping scented handfuls" - love it! Perfect pic choice too. Good luck!

This is an excellent poem where the poet met not only the stringent requirements of the contest, but described a bountiful and colorful harvest with alliteration and sibilance. Succulent, plump, luscious, dripping and scented were the words that brought this poem over the top. Well done.

Bravo!, Your poem brings out the Lucius flavor in each of the autumn harvest fruits, I love this form of poetry. Well done! Good luck in the contest... it should do well.
