Hello there, Bill Your humor and wit never cease to amaze me. I always enjoy your fun poems. I laughed my butt off at:
"Komofrodo, a hobbit pagan,
wore platform shoes to the prom."
Thanks for a making me laugh.

A fun, light, and entertaining piece here. A great job with the repeating "modos" to extend the interesting rhyme. Thank you for sharing. :) Yvette ;)

Your poems are just so much fun, Bill. They always make me laugh. So much creative freedom and wit in the names of Frodo, Toto and Yoyo and what a zany adventure they undertake.

Most enjoyable post.

This is my favorite Komodo Dragon World. You are so clever at this. I bet you have tons of fun writing them.

Quasikomodo and Komofrodo are my favorites. The platform shoes at the prom - Hahahahaha.

Lol. You are having too much fun. Enjoyed the play with word and name sounds and all the literary allusions, except for the yoyo which I was hoping would be a form of Yoda. Great picture, too!

How about Nonomodo, who didn't want to hear it anymodo? My firm conviction is that, though talented and sometimes entertaining, you are a PTSD nut. I did not really mean that I did not want to hear from you any more. I took advantage of your naming conventions, that by the way, sound a bit like Ebonics. Keep at it an maybe one day you might make sense. Naw. LOL.

    PTSD. Poetry that sounds dumb?
reply by nomi338 on 31-Aug-2018
OK. That sounds about right. Though some might argue against it, I believe that there is a definite place for the craziness. So don't you dare even consider not writing it.

I would've given 6 stars if I could've! This is one of the best I've read! The poem was so much fun. I hear to read it 3 times to really see what you did! It was clever, quick, sick and fun! Perfectly written! Perfectly fun!
;)

You must be a publicist for the komodo dragon, or those guys must get around. The play on the name is fun. Very creative associations with the Hunchback, the Hobbit, and Dorothy's dog in the wizard of Oz. I suppose YoYo played the cello. Very inventive. judi

This speaks about a funny hunchbacked komodo dragon with a peculiar name, he lives a playful living, there are other creatures in his world; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR
