I enjoyed immesely your story...your description of the underworld and its colourful and busy occupants was delightful as was the the second part ...the unlikely friendship between the old fisherman and sweet Jesse.

Two people very different with a common passion the sea..spending time sharing their stories ..and I loved the bittersweet ending ..the pendant found just in time before the old fisherman died...

I'm addicted to sad endings so I actaully loved the ending. and I love stories about simple events of everyday life.

The narrative from beginning to end was charming.

I will be disappointed if you dont win this contest .Keeping my fingers and toes [biggrin] crossed.

This is very interesting writing. Love how you describe the coral reef and how the fish are reacting with it. Very well done, it's hard to believe it is fiction. Sad the friend had to die. Thanks for sharing.
