Thank you for sharing. This is a joy to read as I am very into genealogy and have read many wills and old documents myself in the context of genealogy research. I wonder would these gentlemen really have been concerned with science, or would they be oblivious to its application to genealogy? I am curious as to the sources you are using to research this interesting story.

Yes I wonder would they have given thought to the possibility of more accurate methods of deciphering parentage -they were the educated ones after all ! very much enjoyed reading your critique zanya

I would look for a few misspelled words and fix the spacing. Otherwise, I was drawn in and enjoyed what I read of your novel. Thank you for sharing your good work.

You are an excellent writer. Very well done and delivered. The story has nice flow from end to end and your formatting broke it up very nicely. I love period pieces as Victor Hugo is my favorite.
