This was very clever to personify autumn as being distracted and allow summer to slip back in. A most impressive way to look at the season and captured it very well with so few words.

Thanks for the insightful review Mary. I was wondering if I could convey this image in so few words. In Vermont, when we do get an Indian summer, I always feel like we have tricked summer for one more week of sunny frolic, as we shove our sweaters back into the closet. Have a great week end, cheers, judester

When I was young I thought indian summer was a mean tease. Now I see it as a last chance to say goodbye to the warmth and sunshine before winter brings it's own beauty.
Very well done!
Best of luck in the contest,

Here in Vermont it is so cherished as we shove our sweaters and scarves under the couch for one more week of frolic. Thanks for the review, cheers, j

Nice job on the 5 7 5 for this contest, yes that Indian summer as they call it. Nicely done, good luck with the contest with this and have yourself a wonderful day.

This 5-7-5, Autumn Looks Away, has the right set up and notes the brief return of balmy winds and sunny days. Soon this will slip away and the fall will step aside for winter.

Thanks for the review Bill. I love when we get an Indian summer in Vermont. When the summer is over and we resign ourselves to winter's arrival,...Ta dah!!!... a wonderful,, warm week of sunny bliss. Cheers, j
